【八年级英语作文我的假】Last summer, I had a very interesting holiday. It was not a long one, but it was full of fun and unforgettable memories.

During the holiday, I went to visit my grandparents in the countryside. It was a nice place with beautiful mountains and clean air. Every morning, I woke up early and helped my grandfather water the vegetables in the garden. At noon, I cooked lunch with my grandmother. She taught me how to make some traditional dishes, like dumplings and stir-fried vegetables. I learned a lot from her.

In the afternoon, I often played with my cousin in the field. We ran, jumped, and even climbed trees. Sometimes we sat under a big tree and talked about our school life. It was very relaxing.

At night, we usually watched TV together or told stories. My grandfather shared many funny stories from his childhood, which made us laugh a lot.

Although the holiday was short, I felt very happy and relaxed. I enjoyed the peaceful life in the countryside and the time spent with my family. I hope I can go there again next year.

This holiday was not only fun, but also meaningful. It reminded me how important family and nature are in our lives.
