【初中生英语周记初一周记】This week has been a really busy and exciting time for me. As a first-year junior high school student, I feel like everything is new and different from what I used to be in primary school. Every day brings something new, and I’m trying my best to adapt to this new environment.
In the morning, I usually get up early and have breakfast with my family. Then I go to school by bus. The school is a bit far from home, but I don’t mind because I think it’s a good way to improve my independence. When I arrive at school, the first class is English. I find that the English teacher is very kind and patient. She always encourages us to speak more in class, even if we make mistakes. This makes me feel more confident about learning English.
During the week, I had a few interesting experiences. On Tuesday, our class had a group activity where we had to work together to create a short play in English. I was in a group with three other students, and we chose to act out a simple story about a boy who lost his dog. It was a bit challenging, but we all tried our best, and in the end, we did a pretty good job. I learned that teamwork is very important, and speaking English in front of others isn’t as scary as I thought.
Another thing I enjoyed this week was the lunchtime. My classmates are friendly, and we often talk about our hobbies and interests. Some of them like playing basketball, while others enjoy reading or listening to music. I also shared that I like drawing and watching cartoons. It’s nice to know that there are people who share similar interests.
However, there were also some difficulties. Sometimes I find it hard to understand what the teachers say in class, especially when they speak quickly. Also, the homework is a bit more than what I was used to in primary school. But I’m trying to manage my time better and ask for help when I need it.
Overall, this week has been a great start to my junior high school life. I’m learning a lot, both in and out of the classroom. I hope that next week will be just as interesting and fun. I’m looking forward to improving my English and making more friends.
