Hello! Today, I want to tell you about my favorite holiday. My favorite holiday is the Mid-Autumn Festival. It is an important traditional festival in China.

The Mid-Autumn Festival usually falls on August 15th of the lunar calendar. On this day, families get together and enjoy the full moon. The moon looks so beautiful and round, just like a big shiny plate in the sky. We often eat mooncakes during this festival. Mooncakes are delicious and come in many flavors, such as sweet bean paste, lotus seed paste, and even chocolate!

Besides eating mooncakes, we also light up lanterns. Lanterns are colorful and fun to play with. Sometimes, my family and I go to parks where there are big displays of lanterns. It's like walking through a magical world of lights!

I love the Mid-Autumn Festival because it makes me feel close to my family. We share stories, eat delicious food, and spend quality time together. It’s a special time when everyone is happy and full of joy.
