Hello! My name is Lily, and I’m a happy girl in Grade 4. Today, I want to tell you about my daily life.
My day starts early. The alarm clock rings at 6:30 every morning. I get up quickly because I don’t like being late for school. After washing my face and brushing my teeth, I have breakfast with my family. My mom usually makes me a bowl of porridge and some bread. It’s simple but delicious!
After breakfast, I walk to school with my best friend, Sarah. We talk about our favorite cartoon shows or homework while walking. School begins at 8 o’clock. In the morning, we study English, math, and Chinese. I love English class the most because it’s fun to learn new words and songs.
At noon, we have lunch at school. The cafeteria serves different dishes every day. Today, I had rice with chicken curry and vegetables. Yum! After lunch, there’s a short rest time. Some students sleep, but I prefer to read books or play with my classmates.
In the afternoon, we continue our lessons. There’s also art and music sometimes. I enjoy drawing pictures and singing songs. When the final bell rings at 4 o’clock, I feel so excited because it’s time to go home!
When I get home, I do my homework first. It takes me about one hour. Then, I help my mom prepare dinner. She often asks me to set the table or wash vegetables. I think helping her is important. After dinner, we watch TV together or take a walk in the park.
Before going to bed, I always read a storybook. My favorite book is Charlotte’s Web. It’s about friendship and kindness. At 9:30, I turn off the light and close my eyes. Tomorrow will be another busy but exciting day!
This is my day—a mix of learning, playing, and spending time with loved ones. What about yours?
Goodbye for now!
